You want 19yr old pitchers in the rotation while we finish 4th? Let
them season a bit before Sabean trades Matt and Timmy.
They can season at a higher level at this point. A nineteen year old can
blow out his arm, shoulder, or elbow, in single A, double A, triple A or the
majors. At some point one needs to progress at a higher level where the game
is faster, the adjustments are more critical, and the skill level is higher.
It has far exceeded the time for these guys to advance. At the current
strategy Mays would not have made it to the majors until he was 24 or 25.
