I am so utterly sick and tired of this Jeckyll & Hyde team. They have
played like the '03 Tigers vs. Red Sox and will continue to do so
against Kansas City this week. 90 losses, here we come!

P.S. Memo to #31 Munson: Buh Bye, and good luck with your new team
next year.

Alcohol is the cause of, AND the solution to all of life's problems...

Agreed on the Jeckyll vs. Hyde nature of this team. Of
course, any team will go up and down through a 162
game season. But it seems like the Tigers have a way
of looking very good at one point, then totally clueless
the next.

As for 90 losses... two things:

First, I'm not sure I'd be horribly unhappy with 90
losses. I mean, sure I want them to win as much as
possible, and I want them in the playoffs and I want
them contending for a WS championship. However,
I'm also realistic. After 119 losses last year, only
90 losses would be a significant improvement.
That's a 29 game swing and that ain't bad.

Second, the 90 loss mark might be an interesting
thing to watch. Right now the Tigers are 60-70,
with 32 games left. Their current willing percentage
of .462 translates into 14.78 wins... let's round down
to 14 to be conservative. That means a final record
of 74-88...just above the 90 mark. Of course, this
all depends on who plays: Dr. Jeckyll or Mr. Hyde.

Chris
