i just wish 2 things would happen---

alex would predict a braves loss in every playoff game
and folks would learn that he is no more than a troll

How about you just make sure to give everyone in the newsgroup the ok before
anyone is replied to? It will save time, effort and writing. Probably cut down
on all sorts of comments. Yes I know I reply to some trolls, granted. But who
is to say that wasnt someone else who basically WANTED Russ to pitch a no
hitter? If anything my comment was a bit caustic since of course I wanted Russ
to pitch one and the original comment wasnt accurate. I want the Braves to win
it all. I enjoy commentary back and forth about it. Yes i have MY foibles (cant
stand unions and barry bonds), but good back and forth commentary is only fun,
after all that is the reason for the newsgroup.

No..just rather tired of people complaining that other people's opinions are
not needed. If you dont want to reply...fine. If you do...fine. Some opinions
are meant to be funny and outrageous. Some are meant to be serious. Some are
frivolous. If you want only serious commentary backed by volumes of research
and statistics...I suggest you find other more "scholarly" venues. I rather
enjoy this:)
