Good way for the Royals to start the series with Texas. They win 9 - 5
with 14 hits to start the series. Some alright pitching too and our
closer came through for us again.

Good job Royals! Lets get 'em again tomorrow!

lets hope Bannister, Grienke and Hochaever(sp?) can string some good
outings together and get us back to .500 and over.

I am expecting a good start for Bannister tonight. I am not going to be
able to watch but the last part of the game. I am going to a play
tonight.... doh! I am hoping when I come out of the play and KC is in
late innings we will be up by five or so runs again. That was nice last
night how the Royals did not have any problems hitting or scoring runs.
Completely different from what we have seen the first part of the season.

The Royals are due for some good strings to make up for the seven game
losing streak. Lets Go Royals!

You forgot to mention Guillen's 5 RBI.

Yeah, break out game for Guillen... hopefully! He needs a spark get
himself going. The tv announcers were saying maybe it was the warm
weather they have down in Texas which gave them the boost. If so,
hopefully it remains warm for them tonight.

Well, we had the bats tonight, but geez, seven home runs in the game
total. Five from Texas and two from the Royals. We had nine runs and we
lost the game. Be nice to get them tomorrow afternoon!

Lets Go Royals!

Yeah, I did not get a chance to see the first part of the game. I got
home about the end of the seventh inning. Of course Texas was already up
at that point. We did score a few runs late in the game and I thought we
were going to get them, but then I think it the bottom of the eigth Texas
hit a two-run homerun and they were back up. Again, I thought in the top
of the 9 we were going to get them when we hit a homer, but came up short
with runs.

It was good to see Tony Pena, Jr get a descent bunt. I think that is his
first bunt all season. Smile

Bannister got rocked again. Maybe a little overconfident after his
complete game gem? Hochevar's last outing was decent.

Pena is making me completely insane...his glove is too damn good to sit him
down but his bat is too weak to keep in the lineup.
