Fantasy Baseball League

** Team Owners MUST be at least 18 years of age **

Teams, Schedule and Draft
-16 Teams will be divided into two 8-team conferences
-A Primary Draft will be live and conducted at 1:00 PM Eastern on Saturday,
March 20, 2004
-Rosters will include 5 minor league players, 8 reserve players and 19
active players: 1 each C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 2-U; 4-OF; 4-SP; 4-RP
-A Primary Draft will consist of 27 rounds (19 Active and 8 Reserve)
according to CBS guidelines
-Roster may be adjusted daily
-For this league, Minor League Players are defined as:
Players NOT on the major league roster as of the first pitch
of the Major League season.
-A Minor League Player draft (5 rounds) will be conducted via email within
the first week of the MLB season. These players MUST be on a minor league
roster at the time of this draft. For minor league players not listed on the
CBS pool, owners must list CORRECT SPELLING and major league affilate of the
player.
-The purpose of the Minor League Player roster is for developing a long-term
program and NOT to be abused as a "revolving door" for minor league players.
Therefore, owners will be limited to 5 additions to the Minor League Player
roster per year.

Fees and Prizes
-The cost to play is $110 to cover the cost of fees to CBS, Paypal, and
Prizes
-For the protection of all, payment MUST be sent via Paypal
-Prizes will be awarded via Paypal within one week of completion of
tournament
-Prizes are as follows:
$100 Best Fourth Place Finish ($100)
$150 Third Place Per Conference ($300)
$200 Second Place Per Conference ($400)
$300 Conference Winners ($600)
$200 Most Categories Won* ($200)
*Divided by no more than two teams or award will be added to MCW the next
year

Scoring
-Scoring will be Roto format according to CBS Sportsline rules and based on
the number of categories won to include:
HITTING
BA (Batting Average)
DT (Double + Triple)
HR (Home Runs)
OBP (On Base Percentage)
R (Runs Scored)
RBI (Runs Batted In)
SB (Stolen Base)

PITCHING
ERA (Earned Run Average)
HD (Hold)
K (Strike Outs)
QS (Quality Start)
S (Save)
W-L (Wins minus Losses)
WHIP (Walks + Hits divided by Inn. Pitched)

-FPCT (Fielding Pct.) Category will be used as a tie-breaker

Between Seasons
-Team owners will receive invitations to return in mid-January of each year
-Payment will be due February 1 or team will be forfeited
-Team owners may select 10 players plus 5 minors that they may protect from
their roster
-Future new owners will buy teams and then protect 10 players plus 5 minors
-Protected player lists are due March 1 with lists distributed to owners for
review
-Late March draft will be conducted to complete remaining roster slots
