The Rose Award goes to Mark Teixeira of the Atlanta Braves, who went
two-for-three with four RBI and scored one run in a 8-1 win over the
Milwaukee Brewers.

Teixeira homered and reliever-turned-starter Jorge Campillo's first
career hit scored two runs.

So, what does Mister Teixeira get for this prestigious award? Does he even
get notified? If so, would he even care? Does anybody care?

Pardon me for noticing, but this 'award' got old years ago, and now it's
just plain stupid.
