The Rose Award goes to David Ross of the Cincinnati Reds, who went two-
for-three with four RBI and scored one run in a 9-1 win over the
Pittsburgh Pirates.

Ross' first homer put the finishing touch on a six-run first inning
off left-hander Tom Gorzelanny, and the Reds extended their home
winning streak to nine games.
