| The Rose Award goes to Ramon Hernandez of the Baltimore Orioles, who
went two-for-five with four RBI and scored one run in a 12-5 win over
the Philadelphia Phillies in the second game of a doubleheader.
Hernandez also homered to key a 20-hit outburst that helped lead the
Orioles to a doubleheader sweep. The Orioles won the first game 7-4.
