The Rose Award for 4-3-2008, goes to former Cincinnati Bengals WR
Chris Henry, who surrendered to police after being accused of punching
an 18-year-old man in the face and breaking his car window with a beer
bottle. Henry, 24, was being held in the Hamilton County jail after
being charged with misdemeanor assault and criminal damaging. He was
subsequently released from the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Rose Committee salutes Chris Henry for his well-deserved Rose
Award, his actions, which has resulted in in a stint in the hoosegow,
truly represents the actions, morals, and character of the namesake of
The Rose Award. We salute a true Rose Award Hall-of-Fame nominee,
Chris Henry.
