The Rose Award goes to Mark DeRosa of the Chicago Cubs, who went one-
for-three with five RBI and scored one run in a 10-1 win over the
Atlanta Braves.

DeRosa hit a grand slam, Alfonso Soriano and Derrek Lee hit solo
homers, and the Cubs closed out a tumultuous weekend by ending a six-
game losing streak.

Wasn't that first inning scary. one out and then 4 singles in a row
and not only no one in but another out! When the ball hit the first
base runner. Looked like the Cubs were gonna get the zero
again....then Derosa hit his grand slam...Maybe the Cub's luck has
turned around.

Let's hope you're right Al. Actually it was a good thing that Ramirez got
hit with the batted ball. Otherwise Jones' grounder was destined to be an
inning ending double play.

Right. I couldnt figure out why the Atlanta announcers were saying it was a
bad break for the Braves.
