The Rose Award goes to Jorge Posada of the New York Yankees, who went
two-for-three with six RBI and scored three runs in a 8-3 win over the
Kansas City Royals.

Randy 'Old Man' Johnson took a no-hit bid into the seventh inning and
Posada hit a pair of three-run homers. Jason Giambi figured he'd
better start doing something for the team so he broke an 0-for-21
hitless streak with a double to center.

Two 3-run homers? That is a very un-Rose-like performance. It would
have been more fitting to give it to someone who got, say, 2 singles in
4 at bats and had a stolen base. And had a couple of grand riding on
the game.

Well, your lack of class goes right along with Petey. Now why don't you create a
ROSEJRCOMM award for selling steroids.
