The Rose Award for 9-19-2007 goes to Texas freshman running back James
Henry, who has been charged with two felony counts of obstruction and
tampering with evidence, making him the sixth Longhorns player
arrested since June. Henry, arrested Monday, is accused of beating up
one of the victims of a July home invasion that allegedly involved two
other players, Andre Jones and Robert Joseph.

The Rose Committee salutes James Henry as the latest Rose Award
recipient. Henry joins teammate Tyrell Gatewood (9-14-2007 Rose Award
recipient) with this appropriate award. The Rose Committee feels that
James Henry personifies the values represented by The Rose Award.
