The Rose Award goes to Hideki Matsui of the New York Yankees, who went
three-for-five with four RBI in a 8-1 win over the Chicago White Sox.

Chien-Ming Wang gave up six hits and a run over seven innings as the
Yankees split a doubleheader. The White Sox took the first game 5-3.
