I hate to butt in, but I feel the need to explain that it's a very
prestigious award that current and former ballplayers vote on. They usually
assemble in smokey halls with cigars hanging out of their mouths, arguing
loudly about this player or that player, and it happens on a nightly basis,
assembling discretely where nobody can bust in on, or be privy to, their
business. The key word is prestige! Oh, the humanity!
