Our league says that a player can be claimed on the day that he is
"activated". On the USA Today site on June 21 it said that Clemens contract
was "Purchased from Round Rock by the Astros". I never did see where the
word "activated" was used. It caused some conversation in our league as to
who had the rights to him. How was this handled in your league?

Our league has no restrictions on when a player can be added. If he's in the
minor leagues, he's fair game. In your case, though, there is a specific
date on which Clemens was added to the 25 man roster. That would seem to be
easy to find (probably the June 21 date).
