OK we have a decent closer now but it looks like were in need of another
starter based on Robertson's recent performances!
So what do the Tigers do with Nate and who's going start?

Nate is not losing his spot in the rotation anytime soon. Even if they made
another deal today for a starter, that person would probably take Miner's
spot.

Leyland made some remarks after last night's marathon game (which
Rodney blew but the Tigers ended up winning any way) about either
Jones or Robertson having some shoulder issue. Unfortunately I didn't
catch the whole conversation so I'm not sure who he was talking about.
Regardless, Tigers may need to bring up or find another pitcher before
all is said and done with.

Robertson should be put on a bus out of town.

I read the report where he was put on the 15 day DL and Clay Rapada
was called up and pitched in the loss to the Indians on Thursday. What
an ugly game that was and I must say Marcus Thames did not endear
himself to the Tiger fan base by getting only 1 hit in the 4 game
series. That 1 hit did help the Tigers get back into the game on
Wednesday night, but he blew countless other opportunities to help the
team. He also looked like rookie playing left field on Wednesday
night as well. He's in a real funk right now and with the Rays and
White Sox coming up, they need him to wake up.

Robertson - gotta keep starting these threads each day until the pitching mojo wears off! GO TIGERS!!

Leave Robertson in until they hit him - OK it is the top of the 8th right now. We are up 4-3 with a man on second. I hope they leave Robertson in and not bring in the bull pen just because Robertson has pitched a "full" seven innings.... Let's leave the Bull pen out of this should b...

Another 2-1 loss for Robertson - Time to sue for lack of support.

Robertson Sputters - Nate had an awful outing and the Mariners snapped the Tiger's 8 game winning streak. No harm though. Indians lost to the Angels and the Tigers are still only .5 games out. Good place to be in May. Congrats to Curtis Granderson for hitting his 8th..

Robertson signed for 3 years - For 21.25 million. Seems pretty high to me.
