It would have been no contest. The big lezzie wouldn't have stood a chance.

Funny, he scored 42 goals at 36, playing for the Orr-less Rangers...

nigel benn + chris eubank - 2 british (supermiddleweight?) boxers.
they had 2 great fights with each other (eubank won the first, 2nd was
a controversial draw) and with michael watson in the 1990s. later on
steve collins managed to beat them both (twice each i think).

Cross-posting in so many newsgroups was a pretty poor way of achieving that
aim.

Yes, we all want to know about the juicy rivalries concerning people
we've never heard of..... >> Stay informed about: Best Rivalry of all time in any sport |

No, In the US, he wasn't any bigger than several team-sports athletes. But,
at least as portrayed by the US media, he was a worldwide phenomenon. Of
course he doesn't compare with Pele in South America, just as Pele can't
compare with Ali in North America. And I doubt either of them had much of an
impact in most of Asia. I'd like to here from Africans and Europeans over
the age of 50 comparing Ali's and Pele's impact in those continents. >> Stay informed about: Best Rivalry of all time in any sport |
