Okay, okay... I know that merely trying to beat 43 wins is not much
of an accomplishment, but even 44 wins will be an improvement,
and we haven't seen an improvement in wins since the 2000 season.

So, that's said, I'll be having at least a little mental count down
clock in my head for that 44th win. We have 41 more wins to go,
and nearly 6 months to do it in. That means we need to average
only 7 wins per month from here on out to surpass the wins of
last year.

Here are some other fun facts:

* We've already tied our win total from April 2003.
* We played 9 games against Toronto last year. In only
three games so far this year we've already won more
against Toronto than we did all of last year (2 wins).
* This year we scored 20 runs in three games. Last year
it took up 11 games to get our 20th run.
* This year: 3 games, 3 wins. Last year it took us 22 games
before we got our third win.
* Last year we completed our first three game sweep
(against the O-birds) May 7th. It was our 32 game.
This year, we completed our first three game sweep
with our third game.

I know...I know. It's only 3 games and it's a long season.
Certianly things are going to get worse. But for right now
I'm just having a blast!

Chris
