Wakefield gave up back to back homers after the delay.

Could it be because the wet/cold prevents the knuckleball from dancing?

Or just because starting pitchers cool down.

I suspect that it was the latter.

I don't think that it was at all "cold" or "cooler" after the rain at the
game. At least, Remy and Orsillo didn't think so. Also, it was very humid
before the rain delay. I don't know if the air was any more humid after the
rain or not.

I happen to think that Tito should have just put Gonzalez in the game after
the rain delay and let him try to finish the game. Gonzo is our long man is
does pretty well at it.
