Some people just hate him irrationally. These are the ones who see
nothing odd in McNamee's lawyers screaming "we're gonna sue Clemens for
defamation" literally from day 1. Dick Emery was screaming about suing
Clemens even before Clemens publicly denied McNamee's testimony. Emery
is also the one who was publicly predicting a Justice Department
investigation into Clemens' PED use as well as Clemens' "lying". Neither
has happened (yet). Dick Emery is also the lawyer who is now running
around screaming that Clemens will be pardoned by President Bush.

Emery acts like a 6 year old who got caught sneaking cookies before
dinner. Couple this with the fact that we know McNamee lied about
Clemens' and other players' PED use already and I find myself switching
back to Clemens' side again.
