Nah, that was 2 out of the previous 4 times. 50% success rate isn't
that bad, is it?

And Torii is anything but "poor" after that contract he signed with
the Angels.
Looks like it could be that OTHER team from L.A. that has the shot
at it this season.

Who's your pick for the WS?
I'm thinking Phillies and Rays.
(Which guarantees Red Sox and Dodgers)
Torii Who? - How bout that Lew Ford? The kid's been smoking hot since he replaced Hunter. Always seems to get that clutch hit. Love watching his at-bats. He seems to have a really keen sense for what the pitchers are going to throw. I don't know if he's just swinging...
torii torii torii - Man, this guy is really bombing at the plate. You folks think Cuddyer is slumping, he makes probably a tenth of what Hunter makes. Torii is much more of a disappointment than Cuddyer thus far. Especially for what he is paid.
Torii - It will be very interesting to see how Torii is greeted tomorrow. If you guys...and gal (Anne), were at the game, would you boo, cheer, or be indifferent? ;-)
KEEP TORII - http://www.startribune.com/150/story/727225.html I hope he stays with the Twins for the duration of his career. How about a creative restructured contract, multi years, decreasing salary with incentives. Gold Glove, 25 or more homers, number of RBI's,..
Torii's Troubles - In the last week of play Torii Hunter has left 18 runners stranded while collecting 4 RBI. One of those four RBI was a solo HR. This magnifies the Twins' problem which is that they do not have a legitimate clean up hitter. Morneau, Koskie, LeCroy,..
