No matter what happens, nobody, not even Alsip, can say that the White Sox
did not make it to the playoff.

If the Cubs had not wasted so much time with slow moving Dusty they might
have been to the World Series years ago but the past is the past.

A manager does make a difference. You saw what happened with the Cubs when
the got a real manager and you saw how the Yankees sucked after they gave a
vote of no confidence to Joe Torre. Joe Torre just went to the Dodgers and
won the division like he always does while the Yankees tanked.

I certainly hope that the White Sox will make it to the playoffs, but
today's game against the Twins is regarded as part of the regular season.

All the stats will be counted in the regular season as well as the odd
number 163 games total in the win-loss column.
