Players should pick HOF cap

The hall of fame should put a Red Sox hat on
Clemens if they want to, regardless of what
Clemens wants. Here is why players should not
be allowed to pick their HOF cap: if they get
to pick, someone will want to simply sell the
rights to a company. If the HOF gives up the
right to the player, the player will get to do
what they want. Imagine these HOF plaques:

Roger Clemens: in a Nike cap
Cal Ripken: in a Good Guys electronics cap
Wade Boggs: in a KFC cap
Barry Bonds: in a Merck pharmaceuticals cap

Bow down to the King!

No offense, but I kinda like the idea of Boggs in a KFC cap.
