| friday afternoon at Clark-LeClair Stadium as T.J. Hose tossed 6 strong
innings for the Pirates for his second win of the season.
Hose gave up 6 hits and fanned 7. Jason Neitz and Josh Dowdy finished up
the 9-hit shutout for ECU (3-1).
It was the first loss of the year for the College of Charleston.
Game 2 is Saturday at 2 p.m.
