Ima et all,

They flashed a stat on the screen today that said the boys are 12 - 5 when
LaRouche starts at third. Is that a statistical coincidence or has he
contributed that much? I remember him doing better than I expected but not
to that extent.

At this point? Coincidence. He's not near as bad defensively as he
looked in ST, but so far he's yet to do much at the ML level. What he
has done during his time up here is get on base, which has always been a
talent of his (career .376 OBP in the minors, with a 274/203 K/BB ratio
in 1655 ABs).

So far thats translated to a major league line of .196/.400/.275 (4 2B,
6 RBI in 22 G), with a 11/17 K/BB ratio.

They have a .615 winning percentage when I don't watch and I don't even step
on the field.

well... considering he has only started 17 games should be a sign that
management (grady) should be fired. But thats a whole other bag of
hammers!
