Is everybody asleep? I haven't seen any reaction here to the Pierre
trade. Or is everybody just thinking "The hell with it"?

Pretty much have said the hell with it. This Marlins fan will be
finding a new team to support, preferably closer to home (Ohio). I'm
really looking at making my allegiance to the Detroit Tigers since Jim
Leyland is now the manager. Or I may stick with an Ohio team, probably
the Indians.

I knew when Loria bought the team that he would sell them off like he
did with the Expos. It was just a matter of time.

And I don't want to hear anyone here (especially the recent trolls)
saying I wasn't a Marlins fan since I'm changing teams. I was a big
supporter since Day 1 and probably was one of the biggest fans every
year, attending as many games as possible (remember I live in Ohio, but
still made frequent trips to Miami, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati to support my
team). I went to every playoff game and world series games. It is just
the case that I'm showing my disgust of this fire sale, and knowing this
team will be moved for the 2007 season, maybe even sooner.

Hey, Pierre snagged a Barry Bonds home-run (#714) and turned it into an out!

Would you put Barry in the Hall of Fame? Should his records be excluded from
the official records?
