Just took a peek at tomorrow's game, I'm going.

Harang vs Eaton. Harang is 2-7 this year, but his strikeout/walk ratio is
still excellent. Certainly compared to Eaton's anyhow.

1st game of the year for me, of which I hope more to come.

Today's game, whilst I didn't see all of it, was another comeback against a
1st place team.

Way to go Phillies. What, did Utley hit another HR? He's simply amazing. I
know we've discussed this before, but I don't recall if a team ever had 3
different MVPs in a row. This year it is looking like a probability, at
least so far.

Dude, if they lose tomorrow, please make it your last game of the year. Smile

All kidding aside, this team is starting to get that winning attitude. You
know, the one that the Mets lack! Smile

The Fish will be in contention all year, but they do not have enough to win it.
The Braves still concern. After that, the NL will come down to b/w the Phils
and D-Backs.

Into the Phils bullpen. The scoreboard said it was 424'. The wind was
helping with ball hits to center/right field.

Not the same as 3 different players, but Barry Bonds was MVP in 01,02, 03 &
04, all with the SF Giants.

...and St. Louis with Mort Cooper in '42, Stan Musial in '43, Marty Marion
in '44.

It would be cool if, when Utley wins the MVP, it was a first for baseball.
On the other hand, there is solid precedent for it, so the writers shouldn't
feel pressure to not vote for Utley just because Phils have won the last 2
awards. If you catch the way I drifted.

I was suprised to see this had happened 4 times, with three differenct
players, and some more if you count the multiple awards for one player.
While a big deal, not so rare.

Heard on the radio that it was going to be Kendrick and Arroyo.

So, put me in the "W" column.
