I suspect that MLB had the above in mind when they caved in to the old
fart's TV demands.
When the Beast of Baltimore finally expires, and his empire is
dispersed, I predict that the Nats ownership (whoever that might be)
will be cutting a new TV deal to get out from under the Angelos yoke.
When that happens, the spirit of goodwill that Peter Angelos has
inspired within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area will likely be
returned to Baltimore in kind.
Woe be that day, because if MLB feared engaging a Baltimore lawyer,
wait'll they get a load of what we've got here!
I'm rather looking forward to that day. In the meantime, play ball!
