| I was thinking that maybe it is time for Pedro to hang up the cleats.
Then I thought about Mike Mussina. He was taken out of the rotation
last year and look at him now.
Just a thought.

Pedro to the 'pen if Maine was healthy. What good is a guy who
pitches 5-6 innings on a team with a suspect bullpen ??? >> Stay informed about: Is Pedro Finished |

I'm willing to give him a few more games. He has only been back for
two games and, is my memory failing me, or didn't he go for 7 innings
or more in one of the two. Besides, who is gonna take his spot?

Good point. If he could do 7 and keep the team close, that would be one
thing, but giving up 3-5 runs and only going 5 innings is not a good thing
for a team with a bullpen is not a good team philosophy.

Pedro in the pen would be a disaster. Probably 50% of the runs against him
come in the first inning. He almost never has a scoreless first inning. He
improves as he loosens up (before he tires out). >> Stay informed about: Is Pedro Finished |
