By winning in Philadephia tonight, the Padres avoided
the first 18-loss month of April in their history.

Hey ... I'm hanging my Hat on anything right now !

Let's hope the "real" Chris Young returned to stay
with today's performance.

Hat-hanging noted, but my re-write of Meatloaf's "2 out of 3 ain't bad" into
"1 out of 3 ain't bad" may have to become "1 out of 4 won't get it done" if
this keeps up. : (

On the plus side, the winter just keeps coming up here in the PacNW & I'm
going snowboarding tomorrow & Sunday. : )

Go Pads !

It was a lousy month, but not quite as bad as that makes it sound.
They did set a team record - most games played in April. They've had
plenty of worse Aprils in the past, they just didn't lose as many
games because they didn't play as many games.
