I don't know if you guys have noticed or not, but the Pirates haven't
had a winning season since letting Baroid Balco walk as a free agent
after the 1992 season.
And you're right, the Cubs have been above .500 six times since then,
BUT they have still gone 62 years without a World Series appearance,
99 years without a World Series victory. And Tampa Bay hasn't won more
than 70 games in a season in the entire history of that franchise!
