Orioles decline Benson's option
RHP missed '07 season with torn labrum, will become free agent
The Associated Press
12:31 PM EDT, November 1, 2007
The Orioles cut ties with Kris Benson on Thursday, declining their 2008 option on the right-hander and allowing him to become a free agent.
Benson, who missed the entire 2007 season with a torn labrum, made 30 starts for the Orioles in 2006, going 11-12 with a 4.82 ERA, after being acquired from the New York Mets in a trade.
In seven major league seasons for the Pirates, Mets and Orioles, Benson is 68-73 with a 4.34 ERA. >> Stay informed about: Orioles decline Benson's option |

A couple weeks ago, MacFail indicated that Benson would be a free agent, along with Jaret Wright. This news is just that it was made o-fficial now that the Series is over. Expect another such breaking news announcement *yawn* on Wright any day now. >> Stay informed about: Orioles decline Benson's option |

That was her from a scene in a movie >> Stay informed about: Orioles decline Benson's option |

Big news for joepepsi! Recorded David Ortiz on Regis this morning for my wife and happened to learn that Marisa apparently just made a movie in which she had a totally nude lovemaking scene with that guy Philip Hoffman. It was the first time she had ever fully disrobed in front of the cameras. She said at first they were wearing these g-strings, but quickly said 'What the heck' and got rid of them.

Not only does Marisa prance around naked in several scenes, but this also sounds like my kind of movie. A crime thriller about an Irish family. Two brothers plan the perfect bank robbery but it all goes wrong.
My wife met Phillip Seymour Hoffman at a party she somehow sneaked into in New York, the day it was announced he'd been nominated for best actor for Capote. They shared a drink and chatted. She said he is a really nice guy, humble and gracious.
I think it's only fair I share a drink with Marisa now. >> Stay informed about: Orioles decline Benson's option |
