Post subject: Opening Day! 23 hits

Last year we sat and waited for the solo HR and the Cubs scored few runs.
Today the Cubs hit and hit and hit to the tune of 23 runs.

Plus Dusty made a bigger statement taking Zambrano out 1 out from a
statistical milestone. He had 106 pitches and was losing it fast.

And BTW Patterson got his first BB for the month.

This offense was charged and looked like Nomar all over it!

Last year was a disappointment, but quit overstating your case. Last year
the Cubs were 7th in the NL in runs scored. They scored 789. The most
runs scored were by the Cardinals with 855 or 69 more than the Cubs. The
Cubs scored 174 MORE runs than the worst team in the NL, the Diamond Backs.
