Hi,

I am a knewbe to this noosegroop. I like baseball and have been a
Texas Rangers fan since they first played here at the Ball Park
that wasn't in Arlington.

Still, these many years later, I find myself sitting at this
computer with a paper bag over my head. I'm ascaird someone will
recognise me.

As for the 2004 Texas Rangers, I would like to go on record and
state that, " PITCHING IS STILL SUSPECT"

Shhh - noone is suppose to know that the achilles heal is the pitching. We
focus on the positives like will Einar Diaz get over the Mendoza line this
year?

Yall see that Drew Henson is a cowboy now? That should have been part of
the Arod trade.

How bad is the curse of Arod? It's so bad that the Rangers didn't win
anything for 30 years BEFORE he came to Texas!

This is sad, but true. Maybe Henson can fill in a few games for
the stRANGERs. Surely we have someone that can still go long.

Granted that the Hicks/Hart duo has been awful for the Rangers, but
Hick's ownership of the Dallas Stars has produced winners. Gotta
wonder what is happening at the ballpark that ain't happening at the
rink.

I firmly believe its all Hart. About 2 years ago they had 6 really good
quality outfielders and that awesome batting line up but no pitching. Then
they signed Carl Everett which gave them 7 starting outfielders and Hart was
quoted as saying something to the affect of "we're about one bat away from
being where we want to be." That told me something was really wrong with
this guy. That's like being on the Titanic after it hit the iceberg and
saying, "hey, I fixed the plumbing!"
And Hicks can't have made that much money in his life and be a stupid man.
But it sure seems like he just can't say no to SuperAgent Alex Boras. Why
don't they move the fences out 10 feet like they did in Kansas City this
year and see if any pitchers will come here? It can't be the weather that
keeps the pitchers out of here because Houston has never had a problem
attracting pitchers. And Houston in the summer time makes Arlington look
great.
