Can anybody shed light on his health status. Foxsports reports that
the timetable is unknown for him... A quote from their power rankings
section:

"The jerk store, meanwhile, is apparently out of Jose Guillen, who all
but publicly accused Johnson of malingering."

guillen has been known for his "want" to win (not that the other guys
don't.) isn't that part of the reasons he got angry with the angels
management... they weren't taking action to help the team win? but
maybe he feels that he's played through some bruises, and that nick
should be doing the same thing.

on the other hand, i don't think its his place to critisize any
teammate especially nick who has been a major reason that we are in the
place where we are.

Is it just me or is anyone else getting nervous about Guillen? I know the
Angels guys are gonna come out of the woodwork on this one, and I for one
have defended him so far. However, recently he's started going after
teammates it seems. The issue he had with wanting retaliation for being hit
by a pitch, according to the Post, brought deep concern to the management.
Now we see him all but quoted as giving Johnson a hard time. (Sorry to
Hijack your thread)

As to Johnson's condition, Boswell said this morning that Johnson has a
history of "healing slowly." Also, he seemed to believe that the
arrangement of Wilson in CF and Wilkerson at 1B was indicative of a long
recovery for Nick Johnson.

Heel bruises heal slow. You walk on them. I've had one for months, but I'm
48, but they were always persistant when I was a young fast healer.

it is reported that he took some swings yesterday, and is going to
attempt jogging today. that's a good sign. we need him back! it'd be
great if could play for the atlanta series.
