I was surprised - Rodriquez just stole 2nd to prove his legs are good -
there were 2 outs so he should have been off and running - but he was out by
a mile.

No harm in sliding, which was his only chance.

But he was dead meat. someone running that poorly should not have
tried to score --- not clear if it was his fault or the 3rd base
coach.

He should have tried to slap the ball out of the catcher's glove...what was
he thinking?
