No, no. There are 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand
binary and those who don't.

Add me to the INFP list (89 44 22 22). John/Ringo (never George) and blue.

I can't believe how many George fans there are.

Well, it just goes to figure that an Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking,
Perceiver is just never going to get around to making the first move. It
would have been more funny if I'd suggested that the two of you have kissed
fewer girls than I have.

Oh, you're anti-John, not pro-Paul. That's different. Try the Royals. The
Twins might work, too.

Why are you anti-John?

Why do you think I prefer aggressive women? INTPs make elaborate
plans, dither about implementing anything, and when they finally get
an opportunity they could drive a truck through, end up making
obscurely technical conversation that seems calculated to drive off
any possible interest, which in fact it probably subconsciously is.

But, as I said below, my "I" is moderating over time - and the
comparison is ... instructive. Important safety tip - never let me
get my hands on a time machine and a 2x4 at the same time...

Probably the dichotomy I percieved between his public image and how
the content of what he was actually saying fit in with my value
system. Probably transference onto him of what I felt for his fans.
Which isn't exactly fair to John, I grant - but life's like that
sometimes.

Plus, I was just the right age that I got to the music first, and the
context only later. By the time I started thinking about actual
issues, it was the 80s, and Lennon wasn't around to change with the
times.

One problem I see is that the instructions need to make clear that you
are rating on philosophical, rather than aesthetic grounds. Since my
first answer to #2 was "both" and #3 "neither", you see the potential
problem...

Correcting for that, it pegs me as a moderate, but slightly right
libertarian, which is what I've considered myself for the past few
years, at least.

FWIW, I found a quick-and-dirty M-B test online on which I tested as
INTJ, but T was at 1% and I and J were between 10 and 15%...

Well, I was thinking of moving on -- sarcasm doesn't pay as well as it once
did. Beatles-related personality tests seem like the wave of the future
though, hopefully I can get in before the market is flooded.

Not to mention subject matter. It's my impression that Is are
overrepresented in tech careers, science fiction fandom, and armchair
analysis (as contrasted with discussion) of any sort. Given that, and
the relatively low barrier to entry of a message board interface, it
wouldn't be surprising to see Is involved on Usenet way out of
proportion to [our] actual numbers.

As a data point, I've called in to KJR (SEA sports-talk station)
exactly once.

This wasn't expressed clearly. What I meant is that despite the
comparatively low number of Es among the posters here, Es may still
represent a higher percentage of posters than lurkers. You only have to
believe that they make up a comparatively small percentage of lurkers for
this to be true.

Is and Es aren't equally numerous in the general population. IIRC, it's
75-25 Es.
