On the upside when looking at his and Flores split stats versus LH and RH pitching it's an excellent platoon all the way around. What's Laduca's time frame for recovery... 4-6 weeks? That has him missing about half of Spring Training? You could very well be correct. The platoon will still work however as long as they keep Estrada away from LH's and Laduca RH's. The huge cut in pay is strange, although he is coming off surgery. They got a good deal, filled a hole, hopefully he or Lo Duca or both will stay healthy. And if Corrales can keep his head straight on how he should work with the pitchers, then it's not bad.
