Expos fans showed class - Sorry that you lost your team. A great city deserved a better fate but I am glad there were no problems after the game. You city is the best city I have ever been in and this comes from someone who cheered for the Rangers at the Forum. Is there any.

Wouldn't that be off topic posting? Shouldn't that be discouraged? Not

Not really off topic. For all intents and purposes, the Expos and Nats
are the same thing. It is not possible to change the name of the
newsgroup, a new group must be created.

Well, don't know whether that's true or not.
I really find it hard to believe that a MLB team wouldn't get an alt group
by default.

The alt.sports.baseball.wash-nationals newsgroup has already been
created. If it's not already on your newsgroup server, it should be
there in the next five days or so.
If not, then contact your ISP's newsadmin and request that it be added to
your ISP's news server.
Again, the name of the new Nat's newsgroup is:
alt.sports.baseball.wash-nationals
