Interesting that Chicago, historically the city with the
2nd most corrupt and abusive city police force in the
nation just barely behind NYC, doesn't have a
murder-by-police problem.

You're right. They fabricated all those dents in the cop's cars. The cop cut
his own leg to make it look like he was hit by a car. They all got together
and said let's kill these guys. Focus on the facts of this one particular
incident without trying to promote a much broader agenda.

i thought philly and new orleans had the most corrupt police forces.
new york and LA have the ones most likely to kill you. but then new york and
LA have the gangs most likely to kill you.

Sorry, it's hard to get a tone of disbelief into my voice
while typing. Chicago is a city that spends seven to
eight figures a year paying off excessive force lawsuits,
just pulled an ex police chief out of his Florida retirement
to face civil suits about torturing people until they
confessed to death-row level crimes, and has a police
force that spent the prohibition era and beyond famous
for being owned by organized crime. They've got a nice
reputation for framing people for drug possession and
even murder when said people bring them up on brutality
charges. If people are regularly dying in NYC under police
gunfire and not in Chicago I'll be downright amazed, but I
won't be amazed if the Chicago PD is better at keeping it
off of the evening news.
