How can you possibly award the MVP to a guy who has no triples?
If he had any hustle at all, he would have stretched at least
a couple of those doubles into triples!

Pujols - Has there ever been another player in MLB history who has come in the top four in MVP voting his first five years (and won one in there)? His numbers his first five years are amazing. Anyone notice how high his OBP is too? What a player.

Pujols. HOF? - A guy in the Giants group claims if Pujols died today, they'd bend all the rules for the HOF and elect him in now (with a total of five years MLB service). I say that's absolutley ridiculous. What say you?

Why Pujols is MVP over Bonds - No, its not the RBIs. It's because hits are more valuable than walks. Here's some pseudo-stats for you: Pujols has 18% more plate appearances than Bonds (504 to 428), but has 55% more hits (167 to 108). That makes any slight margin Bonds has in OBP..
