We're still trying to contain our excitement over the addition of Jason
Tyner. It may take us all offseason to get ourselves together.

Tell me about it. There are not even loveable losers, like the Cubs.

No, I hear all of those are now running the Homeland Security
Department's top secret newsgroup interdiction/infiltration system.

Could explain gnork's frequent mysterious "leaves of absence" since the
playoffs...

Yes, Jagr is going to play SS for us, which is why Hart is trying to trade
A-Rod. I hear Jagr has good range.

Hart needs their skates in the outfield.

While we are on the subject of Hart bashing, let me read a quote from this
time last year:
"The signing of John Thomson provides us with an established major league
starter for our rotation," said Rangers general manager John Hart. "We feel
we have been able to significantly upgrade our pitching staff with the
addition of young veteran pitchers Aaron Fultz, Ugueth Urbina, Esteban Yan,
and now John Thomson. He will be a strong asset to the rotation."

Pure genius!. Its hard to believe that out of Thompson, Fultz and Yan we
didn't get a 20 game winner. And do you remember this time last year when
they were thinking about trading Blalock for Pedro Astacio and Roger Cedeno?
And what about Hollandsworth last year??? The guy bats .350 in colorado and
..250 at home. Does that make him a .300 hitter in Texas? And he missed
3/4's of 2002 with a bruise on his shin, a bruise on his shin, A BRUISE ON
HIS SHIN. A toe stub could be career ending. And of course he played for 2
weeks and then he was on the DL for the remainder of the season when he came
to TX. And trade him for kapler?! And I won't even bring up Rocker and
Everett. It would be comical if there werent millions of dollars at stake.
So I'm sure the Ramirez Arod trade will go through as Hart's crowning
achievement. I wonder if Hart had any part in bringing the Super Collider
to Dallas in the 1980s?

So lets check the score this month lost Raffi, Gonzalez and Valdez BUT we
picked up Fullmer and Tyner!

Tom Hicks wanted to play with the big boys and when he realized he was as
smart as Jerry Jones when it comes to personal decisions, he decides to run
away with his tail between his legs. He's doing the same thing with the
Stars. He is one of the worst owners in sports. He is proof that money
doesn't make you smart. Perhaps he could buy the Yankees and turn them into
the joke of baseball. Nice job, Hicks!
