I remember when they the PC crowd started bitching about the Braves
name in the early 90's, that is was offensive to Native Americans, and
they interviewed a native American gentlemen who sells those foam
Braves tomahawks outside the Fulton County Stadium, and he said his
business would be ruined if the Braves changed their name to
the...(trying to find a completely inoffensive team name)...Trees, or

What? He couldn't sell little foam trees?
I'm sure you can find examples of things like that no matter what the
situation. Stepin Fetchit would have had not career had the civil rights
movement happened fifty years earlier.
