C McElroy, Orosco, Myers, and now King....

It seems the end of the run for the pitchers comes at the most inopportune
time. McElroy gave up a HR late in the year in 2000 if I recall correctly
and led to a Giants win.

Does anyone else other Bonds stoppers whose reign ended?

Memo to Bobby Cox and NL managers:

When game tied, walk Bonds because Feliz, Santiago, et al are not going to
win it very often. Bonds will win the game 1 in every 8 at bats.
When ahead and Bonds is tying run, walk him because Feliz, Santiago, et al
are not going to tie it very often, Bonds will tie the game 1 in every 8 at
bats....

Do I need to go on? Oh, and Thanks for pitching to Barry.

I don't think I'll EVER forget the arrogance of Bob Brenly sending Myers
out to pitch to Bonds in the top of the ninth in a tie game earlier this
year. First pitch - GONE.

I once thought Brenly was a good manager, but after seeing that? Noooo.

No kidding. I find the walks as frustrating as the next guy, but you
have to be an idiot to pitch to Barry in that situation.
