Post subject: Music during pitching changes
Archived from groups: alt>sports>baseball>oakland-as (more info?)

It took me a while to figure it out, but when Mecir (and a previous
A's pitcher) left the mound, the Rangers' PA system was playing
"Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day (from the East Bay
of course). I'm used to "Hit the Road Jack", but the song they
played in Texas might go over peoples' heads because the title isn't
in the lyrics.

And speaking of other songs, I happen to like "Centerfield" by
East Bay native John Fogerty.
