Don't you just love stories like that? 6 for 6 with the bases loaded! Here
is a man born into a town so small you can move from one end to the other
and never cross a street. A town so poor they used the back room of a pool
hall for the sixth grade classroom. I am talking a town so small the that
there is only one entry in the apple pie contest. Heck, they only have the
one pie tin. There couldn't be any more.

Well, never mind, but you gotta love a guy moving from double A to the
majors and having the two months the kid is having. Even if he swoons the
rest of the way, you gotta love it in the moment.

Hip Hip, Hooray!

Come on guys...say something good and positive!

Triple, last time we got all "good and positive" they went into a 5 game
losing streak . This time I am just going to sit back, enjoy the games. I
am impressed with Dewitt so far but we have a bit of a backlog at 3rd. Part
of me thinks they should use this time to shop the guy so when LaRoche is
ready they can trade for a starter and put Andy back at 3rd.

You people have no hearts. You could be right but as fast as Nomar hurts
himself. As often as LaRouche does too. As often as the Dodgers have needed
3B over the years. I wouldn't trade my grandmother if she could play third.
