Player - Milestone (# HRs neded)
Sammy Sosa - 600 (0 - he's there)
Ken Griffey - 600 (16)
Frank Thomas - 500 (1)
Alex Rodriguez - 500 (Cool
Manny Ramirez - 500 (19 - needs to pick up the pace)
Jim Thome - 500 (19 - ditto)

I don't know what these numbers mean - probably fallout from the HR-
crazy (how diplomatic of me) 90's. Just found it interesting there are
so many.

Add to that, Craig Biggio needs 4 more hits for 3,000. And Julio Lugo
needs only 11 more for 1,000. GO JL!!! <G>

With any luck, Lugo will reach that lofty plateau sometime early next
season, whilst playing for another team.

I wonder if Lugo will reach his milestone before ARod. I wonder if Griffey
will get his before he gets injured and out for the season (again).

I wonder if we will ever see Giambi (or Clement) again.
