I was disappointed (but not surprised) that Miles' performance on Sunday was
overlooked or at least played-down.
It was about the 5th item on the MLB list this morning and did not even show
up on the first page of the Google-Sports page.
You can bet if ARod or anyone with Boston had hit a WALK-OFF GRAND SLAM it
would have been ALL we heard about for days.
Miles is so indicative of why the Cardinals are where they are this year.
And please don't think I don't have equal respect for all of the other
position-players. I (we) just can't say enough about this Cardinal team
this year.
I do not live in the St. Louis broadcast area, so I have to get my "live"
broadcasts through the MLB.TV. And I have watched just about every game
this year. MLB.tv is great and well worth the price...and NO, I do not work
for them.
GO Cardinals!!! You're going to need your BEST effort for this Milwaukee
series.

The sports channels were replaying the grand slam among the highlights
all night, fwiw.

I live in "Cardinal information/telecast Hell"...Kansas City. (I was born
and raised in St. Louis!) The KC TV stations don't even like to speak the
word "Cardinals", let alone keep us updated. And the last time I checked on
the pay-tv stations here, they blocked the Cardinals because they were too
close to KC.
Thankfully, I am still able to get the telecasts through MLB.tv.

MLB.tv is getting a little better with its stream if you use Mosaic
and the NexDef plugin. I'm able to watch that on either my
wide-screen computer monitor or by hooking up my laptop to my HDTV.
Still choppy sometimes but better than it used to be. I watch about
75% of the games this way.
