that there was enough left over to beat EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE DIVISION,

Graig Nettles used to say "any team can beat any other team, not just
beat them, but beat them badly". Didnt matter if was the bad old

I still have not forgiven Nettles for single-handedly beating the Dodgers
