Hello All,

I play in small 8 team non-keeper Yahoo league - H2H . Stat
Categories are:

R, HR, RBI, SB, TB, AVG, OBP, W, L, SV, HR, K, ERA, WHIP

It should have been 10, but two (it was almost 3) of the guys dropped
out just before the draft.

K. Matsui is still on the wire (actually the other H. Matsui is still
on the wire too). I know he has had a terrible spring, but a
lacerated finger on top of making the adjustment to MLB more than
likely had something to do with it. Would you pick up Kaz now and if
so, who would you drop?

I picked up J. Reyes because he would be eligible for both SS & 2B a
few weeks into the season.

I had the 6th rd pick. Here is my team:

J. Posada (NYY - C)
D. Lee (ChC - 1B)
J. Kent (Hou - 2B)
H. Blalock (Tex - 3B)
N. Garciaparra (Bos - SS)
B. Bonds (SF - LF)
R. Sanders (StL - LF,RF)
R. Ibañez (Sea - 1B,LF)
É. Martínez (Sea - DH)
M. Teixeira (Tex - 1B,3B)
C. Crawford (TB - LF)
J. Reyes (NYM - SS)

Pitchers
J. Vázquez (NYY - SP)
B. Webb (Ari - SP)
B. Wagner (Phi - RP)
M. Mantei (Ari - RP)
M. Clement (ChC - SP)
J. Borowski (ChC - RP)
C. Zambrano (ChC - SP)
R. Ortiz (Atl - SP)
B. Penny (Fla -

Thanks!

Normally I would say that spring training doesn't mean much. I've got him on
two of my teams and it would be silly to cut him simply over a bad spring
training. But Kaz is basically a rookie when it comes to the MLB and since
nobody really knows how good he can be -- if he's any good at all -- then I'd
be very careful about picking him up. I guess my philosophy on him is, "If
you've got him, keep him. If you don't have him, stay away."

I appreciate the feedback. With Nomar on the DL and Reyes probably
going on the DL (hamstring), I had to pick up Kaz anyway.

I wanted to pick up Jose Contreras to fill Nomar's spot, but with the
Reyes situation, it was a safer bet to grap kaz now.
